Vor einigen Wochen waren Arzu und ich in Dubai. Sicherlich habt ihr unseren Trip in die Vereinigten Arabischen Emirate auf Insta-Stories mitverfolgt. Heute möchte ich euch aber auch noch auf meinem Blog über diesen traumhaften Urlaub erzählen.
Nach einem 6 Stunden Flug von München nach Dubai, sind wir am frühen Morgen in der Wüstenstadt gelandet. Auf dem Weg zu unserem Hotel, dem Sheraton Mall of the Emirates war bereits die Taxifahrt ein großes Highlight. Wir sind an hohen, ja seeeeehr hohen Gebäuden vorbeigefahren, sodass ich einen Moment dachte in New York zu sein. Dann aber auch gab es kurze Stellen mit Wüstensand und traditionellen orientalischen Häusern. Das ganze umrahmt von grünen bepflanzten Arealen und überall hervorstechenden riesen Palmen. Wow-Effekte waren also auf der 20 Minuten Taxifahrt keine Rarität. By the way, Taxifahrten sind in Dubai besonders günstig und ihr braucht keine Scheu zu haben.
Angekommen beim Sheraton MOE, wurden wir gleich herzlichst empfangen. Die Portiers haben uns die Koffer abgenommen und wir sind durch die Drehtüren in eine Traumwelt eingetreten. Gleich ging es in den 5. Stock, denn dort befindet sich die grandiose Lobby. Die Lobby überzeugt stilvoll mit harmonischen Farben und einer modernen aber auch orientalischen Einrichtung. Von hier aus gibt es auch einen Zugang zu der Aussichtsplattform, der Vantage Terrasse mit einer vielfältigen Bar.
Eingecheckt im Sheraton ging es auch gleich zum frischmachen auf unser Zimmer im 17. Stockwerk. Das erste Mal in ein Hotelzimmer einzutreten ist jedes Mal ein Highlight, man ist gespannt was einen erwartet und wie das Zimmer live aussieht. Kaum ging die Türe auf, standen wir regelrecht in einer Suite. Nein, wir haben keine Suite gebucht, sondern ein Standardzimmer, aber selbst dies ist ein einziger Traum. Wir hatten einen traumhaften Blick auf den Burj Khalifa und die Hochhäuser des neuen Dubai. Das Zimmer selbst war sehr geräumig und es war mit allem ausgestattet was man sich nur wünscht. Selbst Tee und Wasser gab es kostenlos im Zimmer, um sich eine Auszeit nach dem Sightseeing zu gönnen. Ganz besonders hat uns aber das offene Bad überzeugt. Die Badewanne steht regelrecht im Zimmer, denn das Bad wird durch eine durchsichtige Glaswand abgetrennt. Natürlich kann man auch im Fall der Fälle ein Rollo herunterfahren 😉
Das Bett muss ich an dieser Stelle aber auch noch erwähnen, denn nach einem vollgepackten Tag voller Sightseeing, habe ich hier wirklich wie ein Baby geschlafen und konnte wieder fit in den nächsten Tag starten. Ein tolles sauberes und modernes Zimmer bietet das Sheraton MOE also seinen Gästen.
Die Lage des Hotels ist perfekt gelegen. Man erreicht alle wichtigen Hotspots Dubais in kürzester Zeit. Dubai Marina, JBR, Dubai Mall und Burj Khalifa – alles ist schnell zu erreichen und wenn man aufmerksam ist kann man es sogar von der Terrasse des Sheraton MOE sehen.
Somit ist das Sheraton ideal für einen Citytrip aber auch für einen Beachurlaub. Wer gerne shoppt hat hier auch noch das Privileg, mit dem Aufzug im 2. Stock einen Stopp machen zu können und direkt in die große Mall oft he Emirates eintreten zu können. Ihr lest richtig, dass Hotel hat einen direkten Zugang zur Mall. Dieser Eingang vom Hotel ist wirklich auch ein Highlight, für mich ist Sie eine der stilvollsten „Lobbys“ die ich je gesehen habe.
Natürlich gibt es im Sheraton MOE auch das Shine Spa, einen Fitnessbereich und nicht zu vergessen ist natürlich der Rooftop Swimmingpool. Alles was man sich wünscht ist hier vertreten.
Nach unseren vollgepackten Tagen waren wir immer recht kaputt am Abend. Daher kam es uns sehr gelegen, dass das Hotel ein tolles Restaurant im Haus hat. Das Besh Restaurant bietet türkische Delikatessen und überzeugt mit einem schönen Interieur. Ganz besonders kann ich die Kebabs und das Dessert Künefe empfehlen.
Doch das ist nicht alles, jedes Mal erwartete uns auch eine tolle Überraschung auf dem Zimmer. Ihr müsst nämlich wissen, dass Reinigungspersonal des Sheraton ist besonders künstlerisch begabt. Es gab jeden Tag ein anderes Handtuch Kunstwerk zu bewundern. Ob Affe, Fisch, Hund oder Hase – alles können diese Künstler zaubern. Einfach nur WOW!!!
Das Sheraton MOE ist eine richtige Erholungsoase und das perfekte Hotel für einen Citytrip nach Dubai. Alles was man sich nur wünscht, wird einem hier geboten und man verlässt das Hotel wunschlos glücklich und erholt.
Dubai ist wirklich eine sehr beeindruckende Stadt. Wenn man sich alleine vorstellt, dass diese grüne und moderne Stadt, die größtenteils aus Skyscrapern besteht, mitten in der Wüste ist, bleiben einem keine Worte übrig. Hier findet man auch alles was das Herz begehrt, sprich Abenteuerwelten, Wasserparks, riesige Einkaufsmalls, Beachclubs und, und, und… Langeweile ist hier garantiert ein Fremdwort.
Eines ist sicher, ich werde definitiv wieder nach Dubai reisen und im Sheraton MOE bleiben. Hier ist man nicht Gast sondern zuhause.

Some weeks ago Arzu and me, we were in Dubai. You have certainly followed our stay in the United Arab Emirates on Instagram Stories. Today I want to share my detailed experience with this blogpost.
After a 6 hours flight we landed in the desert city very early in the morning. Our transport to our hotel Sheraton Mall of the Emirates by a taxi was al ready a great highlight. We passed huge, very huge buildings, which made me initially feel like in New York City. But then we also came across desert-like areas and traditional oriental houses. We could also see green fields comprising big and nice palms. So we had enough wow-moments during our 20 minutes ride to our hotel. By the way, taxi rides are really cheap in Dubai, I can recommend to take this opportunity.
Arrived at Sheraton MOE, we have been welcomed very warmly. The porters immediately took our luggage and we dived in a dream world by entering the revolving door. We went up to the 5. floor since the fantastic lobby is located there. The lobby area has a modern design with harmonious colors and is stylishly furnished. From this area you also have an access to the Vantage Terrace with an amazing view over Dubai.
Checked in at the Sheraton MOE we went to our room on the 17th floor. Getting in the first time in a hotel room is everytime a highlight, one is curiously expecting what the room looks like. As soon as the door opened, we were standing right in a suite. No, we did not book a suite but a standard deluxe room, but even this one is like a dream. We had a fantastic view of the Burj Khalifa and the skyscrapers of New Dubai. The room itself was very spacious and it was equipped with everything you would need. Tea and water were complimentarily available in the room. We especially enjoyed the open bathroom. The bathtub is like right in the room, because the bathroom is only separated by a transparent glass wall. Of course you can also shut down a blind if you wish ;)I have to mention the kingsize bed as well because also because I slept really like a baby and could start again relaxed in the next day even after a packed day of sightseeing. The Sheraton MOE offers great clean and modern rooms to its guests.
The location of the hotel is perfect. You can reach all major Dubai hotspots in short time. Dubai Marina, JBR, Dubai Mall and Burj Khalifa – everything is quickly to reach and if you are attentive you can even see them from the terrace of the Sheraton MOE. Thus the Sheraton is ideal for a city trip but also for a beach holiday. If you like to go shopping you have the privilege to stop by on the second floor and to enter directly the large Mall of the Emirates. Yes, the hotel has direct access to the mall. This entrance from the hotel is very convenient and also a highlight because it is one of the most stylish “lobbies” I’ve ever seen.
Furthermore the Sheraton MOE has the Shine Spa, a gym and the rooftop swimming pool. You’ll find everything you look for.After our packed days we were always pretty exhausted in the evening. Therefore, it was very convenient for us that the hotel has a great inhouse restaurant. The Besh Restaurant offers Turkish delicacies and has a beautiful interior. I especially recommend the kebabs and the dessert Künefe.But that is not all, everytime we returned to our room we were welcomed by a great surprise. You need to know that Sheraton’s cleaning staff is particularly artistically talented. We got different towel arts to admire every single day. Whether monkey, fish, dog or rabbit – these artists can conjure all. Just WOW!
The Sheraton MOE is a perfect recovery and relaxing oasis and the perfect hotel for a city trip to Dubai. All of the staff is doing its best for the guests’ satisfaction. Dubai is really a very impressive city. If one imagines that this green and modern city is in the middle of the desert, it even gets more impressive and bears a certain magic. Here you can also find everything the heart desires, namely adventure worlds, water parks, huge shopping malls, beach clubs and, and, and … boredom never comes up in Dubai.
One thing is certain, I will definitely go back to Dubai and stay at the Sheraton MOE because here you are not a guest but rather like at home.
